At PWS, our managers and supervisors actively work with their team to ensure every member feels supported and valued through dedicated and regular performance and development reviews. Your typical day will look like:
- Overseeing day-to-day warehouse and production activity
- Strengthening inventory control and operational systems
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team
- Working closely with customer service teams to resolve operational issues that impact customer satisfaction
- Monitoring fulfilment KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch time, and returns, and implementing improvements where needed
- Working with supply chain / procurement teams to align production, logistics, and inventory with demand
- Identifying risks and inefficiencies in the supply chain operations and propose actionable solutions
- Introducing automation and digital tools where appropriate to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Providing training and guidance to ensure all staff understand and adhere to safety procedures
- Conducting regular one-to-ones, set clear performance objectives, and managing appraisals
- Producing regular operational reports, providing insights into performance, risks, and opportunities
- Contributing to long-term planning, including capacity expansion, technology adoption, and process innovation.
You will have:
- Proven experience in B2B operations and logistics, ideally in the PPE/workwear industry
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards or equivalent frameworks
- Strong understanding of warehouse systems, logistics, and supply chain operations
- Experience leading change management initiatives
- Knowledge of UK health and safety and compliance regulations
