Plastic Free July: Bertee’s New Sustainable Packaging
Plastic Free July is an initiative that aims to reduce single use plastic waste across the globe. The challenge involves making a conscious choice to avoid single use plastics at home, work, school, and more. This includes choosing reusable coffee cups, refusing plastic straws, and opting for plastic-free packaging where possible.
It may be surprising to see the amount of single-use plastic that builds up over time at your workplace, often through procurement. At PWS, we’re committed to monitoring environmental sustainability throughout our supply chain. We are proud to offer sustainable, recycled, and recyclable workwear alternatives to our customers, supporting them to reduce their own environmental impact.
Our exclusive partner brand, Bertee, have recently launched their new eco-friendly workwear range, Bertee Ecowear.
On a mission to become a 100% sustainable brand, Bertee have been making changes across their manufacture and supply processes, delivering a 52% saving on CO2 emissions on their top-selling trousers. Their new GRS certified sustainable workwear range doesn’t stop at the garments themselves – the packaging is plastic-free, with a new, recyclable cardboard sleeve.
